LADY TO A TE

Lady is 22 yrs old. She arrived in very poor condition with a filly foal (Belle) at foot in July 08. Carrying quite a bit more weight than when she arrived, she has now given birth to a lovely leggy chestnut filly (pic below).
Lady has been rebred to Tex for a 2010 foal but yet to be preg tested.

LITTLE DRAGON GIRL
Jain is an 8 yr old TB mare. She is also reg'd as a FM with the AQHA
We purchased Jain about 4 yrs ago from a Dog Truck in Wagga Wagga NSW. She was straight off the track and had been very mistreated by her trainer. It took quite a while before she would let a man catch her and even now she is very selective with who she trusts.
We still have her first foal (see young stock), who is now a 2 yr old. Jain has foaled a lovely black / brown colt this year by Tex.

Rising 3 yr old filly
Ellie is the last filly out of Roxy. We purchased the both of them last year from Strabbal Stud. She arrived in top condition (as did mum). A BIG thanks goes to Rudds Horse Transport who got them all the way from Nth QLD to Melbourne, and to Vern Poke Horse Transport, who made sure they travelled safe and sound across Bass Strait.
Ellie was mouthed earlier this year, then turned out to mature a little more. She will be broken in over the coming months and educated on the drums. She has the speed and agility to make a top little Barrel Horse and loads of cow sense to make a great work horse.
Ellie is currently being educated and learning quickly.

QUARTDALE LADY DECKETTE (pending)
Belle came to us this winter with her mum (see stud mares), from Victoria. We weaned her right on 6 months to let mum put on some condition. While she was on mum she wasnt all that friendly. She is now Ellies paddock mate and loves human attention (sometimes I think too much).
Belle is now halter broke. She has picked it up quickly and seems to love learning.

We purcahsed Boy about 3 yrs ago. He is a 10 yr old double morn deck bred gelding who has spent most of his life competing in 3 day events. He seems to be enjoying his new career in Barrel Racing.

Deloraine Bull Ride = 4th in the 2nd round & 4th in the average
Ulverstone rodeo = 10th
Harveydale rodeo = 6th
Ross rodeo = 2nd
Woodstock = 5th
Gowrie Park -
SRJS 3 - 5th in the novice (even after dropping a drum)
SRJS 4 - 3rd in the novice, 3rd in the open & = 3rd in the mens V's womens barrel race
Boy has done better than expected this rodeo season. We are looking next season already.
